Stat Lab — Life Matters

Who we serve

Two kinds of people call us, and both want the same thing: the lab to come to them.

Families arranging a draw for a parent, and professionals arranging draws for the people in their care. Stat Lab works with both, and we answer the phone for both.

Homebound patients

For the patient who cannot get to a lab, and should not have to.

If leaving the house takes a wheelchair van, two people, and an hour of planning, a routine blood draw can quietly stop happening. That is the visit we were built for: the collection at the bedside, in a chair, or wherever the patient is most comfortable, with the time it takes.

  • Bedside and bedbound draws
  • Time for mobility, hearing and pace
  • No transport, no waiting room

Family and caregivers

For the daughter or son who is arranging everything.

Most of the people who call us are not the patient. You are managing appointments, medications and siblings, often from another state. Tell us the patient, the address and what the order calls for, and we will take the lab piece off your list and keep you informed about the visit.

  • You can be in the room for the visit
  • One number to call with questions
  • Recurring labs handled on a schedule

Home health agencies

For the agency whose nurses are already stretched thin.

When a client needs blood work and the schedule will not allow a trip, a mobile collection keeps the care plan moving without pulling a nurse off a visit. Tell us the building and the orders, and we will plan a route around your caseload.

  • Collections that fit your care plan
  • Several clients in one trip where it fits
  • Clear communication back to the case

Assisted living communities

For the community that would rather bring the lab in than send residents out.

A transport for a routine draw costs staff time and disrupts a resident’s day. We come to the building, work with your medication and activity schedule, and collect for several residents in a single visit when their orders are ready.

  • Visits scheduled around the house routine
  • Multiple residents per visit
  • Staff do not need to leave the building

Concierge and private physicians

For the practice that already goes to the patient.

If your patients expect care to come to them, the lab should not be the one thing that sends them to a waiting room. We collect on your order and send it to the laboratory you specify, so the rest of your plan stays intact.

  • Collection on your requisition
  • Routed to the lab you name
  • Discreet, appointment-based visits

Group homes and residential settings

For the house that needs one dependable point of contact.

Residential programs, group homes and recovery residences often need recurring collections for several people. Set one contact, one visit window, and a routine that the staff can count on instead of chasing individual appointments.

  • One contact for the whole house
  • Recurring visit windows
  • Coordination with each resident’s provider

How a partnership starts

No contract to read before you can ask a question. One conversation, one trial visit, and then a routine if it works for you.

  1. 01

    Tell us the setting

How many people need draws, what kind of orders, and what part of the day fits the building.

  2. 02

    We plan the visit

We agree a window and how the orders reach us. Several residents can be collected in one trip where the orders are ready.

  3. 03

    Set a routine

If the need is recurring, we keep the same window, and you get one number to call when something changes.
